Mothers’ Union

We meet on the 1st Wednesday of the month at 2.00 pm with a short service, and on the 3rd Wednesday at 7.30pm, except August.

We have speakers from our congregation and from a wider field.  Also demonstrations and social events. We support the Christmas Child charity.

  • To encourage parents in their role to develop the faith of their children
  • To maintain a worldwide fellowship of Christians united in prayer, worship and service
  • To promote conditions in society favourable to stable family life and the protection of children
  • To help those whose family life has met with adversity

Evening Meeting

Wednesday 21st September, 7.30pm Anne Greenhalgh will be updating us on the African school she founded with friends from Wotton under Edge.  The school is now open, the textbooks purchased, now they need to raise money for furniture.  Come and hear how they plan to do this. Deanery Tea Party

Afternoon Tea

Wednesday 7th, September, in the Parish Room, 2.30pm until 4.30pm.  A Tea Party, and visit by Stroud Deanery members to view the picture of  The Last Supper.  Teas will be provided at  a cost of £2.50.
